The Vice President of the EPP, born 1951, graduated from ESCP Europe and is a member of the UMP. He was minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, Foreign and European Affairs and Environment. 2009 Barnier was elected into the European Parliament. Currently he is the European Comissioner for Internal Market and Service.
